Lord Sarfraz of Kensington
CHAIRMAN
Lord Sarfraz is a British parliamentarian and businessman. He was appointed the first Prime Ministerial Trade Envoy to Singapore, and sits on the Joint Committee for National Security Strategy.
He is an advisor to multiple publicly-listed technology companies. His earlier career was in venture capital and sustainable agriculture, before being appointed to the House of Lords, as one of its youngest members.
He is Patron of The Lord Sarfraz Foundation, and a graduate of the Royal College of Defence Studies, the London School of Economics, and Boston University.

Charlie Edwards
MANAGING DIRECTOR
Charlie Edwards is Managing Director of GTX Partners. From 2015 to 2024, he served in the British Government in various roles including as a senior adviser to two Home Secretaries, Head of the Intelligence Analysis Profession and Director of Strategy.
As a member of the national security community, he contributed to the design and implementation of UK security strategies, and managed relationships with a range of international security partners.
Charlie is a senior adviser at the International Institute for Strategic Studies, and, prior to serving in the British Government, held senior roles in at the RAND Corporation and Royal United Services Institute.

Lord Browne of Ladyton
SENIOR ADVISOR
Lord Browne served as the United Kingdom Secretary of State for Defence.
He also served in Cabinet as Secretary of State for Scotland, and the Chief Secretary to the Treasury.
After a 25-year legal career, from 1997 until 2010, he was the Labour MP for Kilmarnock & Loudoun. A member of the House of Lords since 2010, he is also Vice Chair of the Washington, D.C.-based Nuclear Threat Initiative, and Chair of the European Leadership Network.
He is a fellow commoner of St. Catharine’s College and a visiting researcher at the Centre for the Study of Existential Risk, both at the University of Cambridge.

H.E. Taavi Röivas

His Excellency Taavi Röivas served as the 17th Prime Minister of Estonia.
During his time in office, Estonia became widely recognised as one of the most high-tech countries in the world, with the Prime Minister championing pioneering projects such as e-voting, e-health and e-residency.
Previously, Taavi served as Estonia’s Minister for Health and Social Affairs, during which time the country led the world in digitising health records for its citizens. Taavi was elected to parliament for four consecutive terms from 2007-2020.
Since leaving office, he has served as a senior advisor to several governments in Europe and the Middle East, as well as to transformative businesses in tech, healthcare and financial services.

Dominic Fortescue
SENIOR ADVISOR
Dominic spent over thirty years in the UK National Security community in a variety of UK and overseas roles. He served as Regional Director in GCHQ between 2015-2018 and sat on the Joint Intelligence Committee, crafting geopolitical and security advice for the most senior members of the UK government, for over six years.
He finished his government career as Government Chief Security Officer. In that role he advised two successive Prime Ministers and was responsible for all aspects of government security, including cyber.
On leaving government, he joined EY as a Partner and co-led the cyber security practice in EY’s Financial Services Organisation, helping CEOs and Boards to understand and improve their cyber security posture.
He now advises a variety of companies on geopolitics, security and risk, and how to generate opportunity amid uncertainty. He is a Senior Visiting Fellow at Kings College, London, War Studies Department.

Ali Erfan

Ali is the Vice Chairman of The Electrum Group, a global leader in precious metals mining, with multi-billion dollar investments and operations across several countries, especially in North America. He is the co-founder of technology start-up: NetZeroAg. Ali sits on a number of Board including Gatos Silver Inc, Sunshine Silver and Sinda. Previously he was a Senior partner at 3i Group Plc.
Ali has invested in several early-stage technology companies that achieved IPOs and M&A exits internationally, including: HTE (acquired by BASF), Insensys (acquired by Moog Inc), Smart Fuel Cells (IPO Frankfurt), and CSR (latterly acquired by Qualcomm). He was a founding board member of Leor Energy, a North American natural gas producer acquired by Encana.
